Newly produced Mexican Mauser firing pin made in the USA.

Firing pin protrusion will need checked on installation. 

This is a drop in part, and should not need any fitting. However, due to the variance in the Mexican produced parts, this may require minor fitting. I recommend installation by a competent gunsmith.

I had one customer have an issue with installing their new firing pin, the solid length of the firing pin spring, prevented them from rotating on the cocking piece. I found after trying several examples, that some Mauser springs have a higher coil count along with a thicker wire diameter creating a longer solid length. All the Standard 98 firing pin springs that I tried worked without issue. Some "speed lock" springs will not work. I have added new springs available with purchase that I know will work.
