Receiver produced by Mauser Oberndorf for export to the US. Front ring marked "U.S. 1906". A scarce receiver, a standard length, cut for 30-06 length cartridges and small thread large ring. Many use this type of receiver for takedowns. Some minor pitting and marks, other wise good condition. This receiver would be an excellent receiver for a nice working or custom rifle.
